After 14 years of intensive work in the field of political communication at company and association level, at state, federal and EU level, Andrej Krocker founded KROCKER Public Affairs ... his own company.
Depending on the scope and task, KROCKER Public Affairs ... works together with industry-experienced experts. We form suitable project teams that make up the essential success factor of our work. Our teams are as small as possible and as big as necessary. This protects your budget and ensures efficient communication and enables a smooth solution to your problems.
After studying sciences of communications and media, it quickly became clear that my specialisation in crisis communication would still have a decisive role in the later pursuit of my profession. In the course of the liberalization of the energy markets, the utilities needed increasingly transparent, more active communication.
As head of Forum Erdgas, a consortium of 67 German municipal utilities, I was responsible for the creation and implementation of the association's communication strategy. This was composed of various inward and outward elements. The aim of the strategy was to create greater transparency with regard to prices and increasing competition in the natural gas market, as well as to media and political opinion multipliers, as well as to interested end users, and to initiate platforms for discussing political framework conditions. In this phase, I worked a lot with the energy ministries at the state and federal state level, state and federal deputies, business editors and NGOs.
After this position, I took over the management of an association based in Berlin. This has accompanied developments in the field of natural gas equipment technology for around 40 years. At the time, my task was to involve the association, which had been up to this point very technically advanced, more in the political discussion and to give it greater visibility. More and more frequently during this period, federal legislation has emerged in many cases in response to European requirements. Here I realized for myself, that political change takes place in Brussels. My way then took me to Brussels.
For one of the largest German gas importers and gas network operators, I headed the Brussels office and worked on various legislative procedures relevant to this company. After more than four years in Brussels, then I had the desire to make my network available to others, as well as my insider knowledge of the political institutions and processes and to make it available to a wide range of customers and topics.
I am looking forward to a first contact with you!
